Candy Ribbon Quilt Demonstration

May's special is the Candy Ribbon quilt.  It is a fun fresh quilt that even beginners
can make.  It comes in 12 color combinations:
Candy Ribbon is sold as a full kit which includes all fabric (border, binding and
Snuggle (minky) backing), pattern and applique glue.

Here is the demo:

Cut Sweetie Pies in Half

Begin on one side first and place a small applique glue dot in the middle of the
half scallop lining the cut side up to the edge of the white fabric.  (Be sure not to
place the glue dot too close to the edge where you have to sew the seam).  Place the
next scallop touching the first, repeat until the entire row is complete.  Then start on
the opposite side, placing the first scallop halfway up.  I've only glued 2 down on the left
side on the for demonstration purposes.

Sew the 2 strips right side together.  For demonstration purposes I only sewed it halfway down.
Rows of color swirl together to create "Candy Ribbon".  Sew all your rows
together, add border, and send to machine quilter to finish (or you can do it yourself on your home machine).  I'm going to sew my candy ribbon on my home machine using a bright
colored thread and trace the flowers:)

Finished Product :)
